Total Time:  15 - 25 Minutes

Servings:  2

Ingredients For the Tilapia

  • 1 Inch Cut Strips
  • Radicchio Finely Chopped
  • Lemon Aioli (Recipe Separate)
  • Corn Tortillas
  • 1 Bunch of Cilantro

Ingredients For the Beer Batter

  • 2 Cups of All-Purpose Flour
  • 3 Tablespoons of Loubier Gourmet’s All Purpose Hot or Mild Seasoning
  • 1 Beer Bottle or Can

Directions

  • Step 1
Preheat the pan on medium-high (350 degrees F) with enough oil to cover the fish.
  • Step 2
If the tilapia is not pre-cut, then cut it into 1-inch strips.
  • Step 3
Pour 1 cup of All-Purpose Flour into two bowls (2 cups total) and mix strips of tilapia into one of the bowls of flour. Make sure the strips get covered well in the flour.
  • Step 4
In the second bowl without the tilapia in it, mix in 3 tablespoons of Loubier Gourmet’s All Purpose Hot or Mild Seasoning.
  • Step 5
Slowly whisk the beer into the spiced flour until pancake consistency.
  • Step 6
Coat each fish strip into batter and place gently in frying oil. Flip occasionally until all the fish strips are entirely golden and crispy.
  • Step 7
Chop up some radicchio and cilantro to top tacos with.
  • Step 8
Serve with corn tortillas and top with radicchio, cilantro, and lemon aioli (aioli recipe separate--coming soon) Enjoy! :)
