Loubier Gourmet has spent years perfecting premium BBQ sauces and spices designed to elevate exceptional meat. Now, we’re proud to offer the meat to match.

We’re excited to introduce our pasture-raised beef shares, created in partnership with our friend Daniel and his family-owned ranch in Paso Robles, California.

Daniel’s ranch has been operating since 1875 — a legacy of stewardship, craftsmanship, and uncompromising standards that mirrors our own. After years of searching for a ranch partner who met our quality expectations, we found exactly what we were looking for.

Every animal is organically raised, 100% grass-fed and grass-finished, and cared for with the same attention to detail we put into every bottle and jar we produce.

If you’re tired of anonymous grocery store meat — unclear origins, unknown handling, and inflated pricing — there’s a better way.

You deserve to know exactly where your beef comes from, how it was raised, and what went into it. This is honest food, raised the right way — for your family, your health, and the future of our land.

What does Pasture Raised meat from Loubier really mean?

  • 100% of their life on the ranch, Finished on the Ranch.  Not in Feedlots.
  • Organically raised.
  • Incredible flavor that is hard to source, even from top tier stores
At Loubier Meats, every animal is pasture raised and ranch finished. That means they live on open ground with room to roam, forage, and move naturally, not confined to factory feedlots. This is authentic ranch-finished meat. Not feedlot soft. Not industrial. Just real.

Are You Certified Organic?

While our ranch is not technically USDA “Certified Organic,” we strictly follow organic farming principles — and in many ways exceed organic standards.

Our cattle are:
100% grass-fed and grass-finished
• Raised without grain or grain by-products
• Never exposed to synthetic pesticides, herbicides, or fertilizers
• Raised with animal welfare and land stewardship as top priorities

Rather than paying for an organic certification label that would increase costs without adding meaningful value, we’ve chosen a different path: radical transparency.

We believe you deserve to know exactly how your food is raised, sourced, and handled — not just see a stamp on a label. Our standards are designed to deliver a product that’s better for you, the animals, and the land.

If I order sauces and seasonings, will they arrive with my frozen meat order?

No. To protect product quality and food safety, sauces and seasonings are shipped separately and sent out right away. Frozen meat orders ship independently in insulated packaging with dry ice.

This ensures every product arrives in perfect condition.

What type of breed our your cows?

Breeds would be mostly angus and angus/Hereford cross, some full Herefor

How old are the cows?

Most of our cattle are harvested between 3–10 years of age, following traditional European beef practices rather than typical U.S. commodity standards.

This longer maturation allows the animal to fully develop deeper beef flavor, richer marbling, and more natural fat character, resulting in a more complex, steakhouse-quality eating experience.

Because these animals are not rushed through industrial systems, sourcing is also more efficient — allowing us to deliver exceptional quality at a more accessible price without compromising standards.

This is how great beef is meant to taste.

If I order your meat each month, will it be exactly the same every time?

Not exactly — and that’s intentional.

Because we work with real animals raised on pasture — not factory production — there will naturally be some variation in portion sizes, cuts, and overall yield from animal to animal. Cattle differ in size, genetics, and growth patterns, just like people do.

Large industrial beef operations achieve extreme uniformity by treating beef like a factory product. Animals are confined, rapidly fattened on industrial feed, and optimized for volume and consistency — often at the expense of animal welfare, flavor, and nutritional integrity.

We take a different approach.

Our cattle live naturally, move freely, and develop real muscle and character. That produces beef with deeper flavor, better texture, and true individuality — even if every box isn’t perfectly identical.

That’s the difference between factory food and honest farming.
