Prep Time: 10 Minutes
Cook Time: 5 - 20 Minutes
Total Time: 15 - 30 Minutes
Servings: 4 - 6
Ingredients
- Loubier Gourmet Hot or Mild BBQ Sauce
- 1 lb 80/20 Ground Beef
- ⅓ Tablespoon Paprika
- ¼ Tablespoon Salt
- ⅛ Tablespoon Balck Pepper
- ⅓ Tablespoon Garlic Powder
- ¼ Tablespoon Onion Powder
- ¼ Cup of Water
- 6-8 Hamburger Buns
- Preferred Condiments and Toppings
Directions
-
Step 1
Put the cold ground beef in a mixing bowl. Add paprika, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder, and ¼ cup of water. Mix the contents with your hands. -
Step 2
You can shape the burger patties with your hands, with a burger press, or you can use a sheet lined with parchment paper (any tray or platter would work too), and divide the meat into 6-8 equal parts (depends on how big you want the patties: ¼ - ⅓ lb), and then gently form each patty so that you do not over handle it or warm it too much. Cover patties with parchment paper or plastic wrap and transfer them to the fridge while you heat up your grill. -
Step 3
Heat up your grill to 450 degrees F (if you do not have a grill disposable, preheat your oven to 450 degrees F, or plan to sear your patties on a pan). -
Step 4
If you have a smoker box, smoke them for 15 to 20 minutes before placing patties on the grill directly over the fire (heat). Ignore the smoker step if you do not have one. Place cheese (if desired) on patties before internal temperatures reach the desired temperature. -
Step 5
Once patties reach desired internal temperatures of 125 degrees F for Rare, 130 degrees F for Medium Rare, 140 degrees F for Medium, 150 degrees F for Medium-well, or 160 degrees F for Well-done, they are ready to be taken off the grill. -
Step 6
Build your burger with preferred condiments and toppings. Don’t forget to pour some delicious Loubier Gourmet Hot or Mild BBQ Sauce on it! -
Step 7
Enjoy :)
